Corona Pandemic has adversely affected all our lives and the daily wage earners, people living below the line of poverty are worst hit. Muvi Foundation has been dedicatedly contributing towards society whenever and wherever there is a need. This is a time, we stand in solidarity with efforts made by our government, NGOs and many social workers worldwide. Without any donations or funding, Muvi Foundation has been continuously serving the mankind during this difficult hour. It is solely run on the fund from Muvi, software product development company in Bhubaneswar.
Lockdown which is necessary for protecting us from the deadly virus is affecting livelihood of many. Our organization is supporting all our employees and staffs including housekeeping, drivers, etc. with full month salaries and even salary advance options. During this period, Muvi Foundation has been distributing dry and cooked food packets at almost every slums of Bhubaneswar. Food was cooked following and maintaining all hygiene standards and distributed during the lunch hours.
Muvi Foundation has till now distributed over 500+ masks and soaps among the poor people. With distribution of these necessities, we have been successful in creating awareness on use of masks, sanitizers, and soaps. Our volunteers also discuss on social distancing and how it can help to keep ourselves safe and protected from Corona Virus.
We distributed quintals of rice, pulses, chuda, wheat flour and vegetables. All our volunteers practiced social distancing and maintained the hygiene standards constituted by WHO. Our aim is to be helpful to as many as poor people in our reach and capability. Through our service, we inspire many others to be helpful to everyone around them and overcome this fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
