PPE Kit donation to Commissionerate Police
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our life with an immediate effect. There is a vast difference between life before six months and now. Many people have lost their lives and jobs, with no certainty when this new normal will become a thing of the past. In these self-quarantining times, the real heroes are the doctors, police personnel, municipality employees who are exposed to this threat every day, and working day and night for the social well-being.
From cleaning to mass sanitization and despite no effective drugs or vaccines proven to treat the deadly virus, our heart goes out to the benevolent souls who are trying their best to make the world a better place for everyone without thinking about their own families and lives.
Muvi Foundation, the charity-arm of Muvi, has never hesitated to give back to society and the people. We have been continuously doing our bits to create social awareness about raising issues and helping those in need to the best of our ability.
Owing to the current pandemic, Muvi Foundation has decided to distribute PPE kits to the commissionerate police.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is one of the essential things in preventing transmission of the Coronavirus in treatment centers and during, e.g., cleaning, waste management and safe burials, and community care. PPE kit is designed to shield and protect the wearer against various harmful viruses, bacteria, and infections.
It was a privilege to help the frontline warriors in this unprecedented time by providing the laminated disposable PPE kits, 3 Ply face masks, Nitrile gloves, Protection goggles, shoe covers, and disposable bags. We have donated 50 such PPE kits made with WHO guidelines to the commissionerate police at their headquarters.
The brief event with full of heart and gratitude was conducted on 13th July 2020, Monday. It was a pleasure meeting the spearheads, Additional Commissioner of Police, Mr. A.K. Singh, along with ACP Mr. Sudhakar Mishra, who received the kits and thanked us for our tiny contribution.
On our way back, looking at the empty roads and greenery around the city, there was a deep satisfaction within that resonated with Muvi Foundation’s core value: “Giving is not just about making a donation but making a difference.”
